There is a new song that has been “in the shop” for a few weeks. It was lyrically finished last week. It is called “Darkness and the Glory.” The song is inspired by and directly quotes Psalm 139:7-12, which talks about the fact that there is nowhere we can escape from the presence of God. The premise of the song is this: Even in the darkest parts of our lives, He is there. Even darkness shines in the presence of God. Wherever we are, every part of our day, every crevise and lonely part of our lives, the glory of God is shining through. This song embraces and worships that aspect of God This is going to be a dark song. This shows a different side of the glory of God. The side that is most important in the weak part of our lives.
