Last wednesday night before our weekly youth service, I wrote the title of one of our worship songs on my hand in sharpie. pure. It was originally intended to be a reminder while I was leading worship of the deep meaning of a simple song, allowing me to reflect on it’s lyrics throughout the night. Later that evening and the following day as I looked at the faded letters, I was constantly reminded to guard my eyes and my heart. As I have retraced those letters, I renew my desire for purity. I am often FAR from holy or perfect and need a constant renewal of my unclean heart. Every time I see it i am reminded to remain pure. If this would help you, you can steal the idea. Make me pure oh God like you. Psalm 51:10 Prov. 4:23 12
