Friday in Breclav
Your guess is as good as mine on pronouncing the name of the city, but that’s where we were friday. We led worship for another church, this time cranking it up a bit, letting 6 year old Jaden do some drumming, and jevan & chester throwing down some beatbox/rap.
We are told that in the czech churches it is very rare to see more than a couple hands raised and almost never is there responce for an alter call. Friday night we saw youth and adults all across the room entered into worship dancing, singing and lifting hands, and when Mark Brazda gave his testimony and invited people to pray for salvation, 10-15 responded and came forward.
It was incredible seeing the youth up front jumping and dancing in worship, and then across the room you could see in their faces a chance and desire to seek God. I pray we left that church with that desire. We believe lives have been changed by this trip and that the church of the czech republic will grow in worship and grow in a passion for praise.
Friday was our last day of ministry.
Today is saturday, and we are waiting for our flight to amsterdam, to memphis, to omaha, and then for me, chicago.
It has been a long, and i believe, fruitful trip. I’ll continue to post pictures, updates, and other bits i remember over the next couple days. feel free to email me or send me comments or questions. I’d love to talk with you.
