It was in fact, a VERY busy day.
This morning we had our creative devotion worship session. We had 3 rooms assigned to different forms of worship where students could visit each section and spend as much time as they liked. There was a station for artists who wanted to express worship through drawing and sketches, a writing station to write poetry and lyrics to god, a drum circle, a cross to pray and worship at and an acoustic worship section, where i led some spontaneous songs of worship not facing that group, but facing a wall where names of God were projected. Each room had a different unique anointing on it as czech students learned to worship in different forms. It was very easy to get caught up in the atmosphere of worship there.
We had a worship concert this afternoon that was absolutely CRAZY!!!! These kids know how to dance and run and glorify god in worship. Chester and I quite often broke into wild 2-stepping, at one time jumping over the monitors closer to the crowd to dance with them. Also the rest of the team truly “broke free” tonight.
There was rain forecast, so all our musical equiptment was covered in tarps and about half way through the set the rain came down good. It certainly did not stop the czech students from staying close and continuing to worship, even asking for multiple encores of songs. So we kept going, singing Your Name is Great in the rain and watching a group of Norwegian college students get a train of running worshippers going through the crowd. There was nothing holding anyone back.
Before the night ended i gave an alter call and prayer for salvation. Several responded and were brought into the family of God. Hallelujah!!!!
P Jeff and I also led a practice time for the students learning music and a songwriting workshop, so it was pretty packed day. Can’t wait for tomorrow to see what’s in store.
Tuesday is the last day of the conference then to another city and a local church.
Goodnight!
